Preparing Halloween in Primary
This is a good time to remind our students how people celebrate this festival all around the world. Since many of them did not know much about Halloween, teachers took a few minutes to discuss the practice of trick-or-treating and to review some vocabulary related with it. They did some activities in the class that both built their language skills and gave them a little spooky excitement too.
Our 3rd year students drew and coloured a monster. They had to be very original and then describe it below using the following structures: "My monster has/hasn't got...", "it is/isn't...", etc. Some of them even had a fringe and a wig! It was great fun.
